The Diamondbacks are hosting the Twins at Chase Field on Saturday night after a 5-9 loss on Friday. Corbin Carroll is coming off of a 3 for 4 performance with a walk, a double, a triple, and 4 RBI. He enters Saturday’s contest with a .283 AVG, 13 home runs, 42 RBI, and an impressive OPS of .912.

The left-handed right-fielder has made life for the opposition a nightmare through hitting the ball hard and spreading it around the field. 48% of his batted balls have an exit velocity between 95-110 mph and an additional 2% leave the bat at over 110 mph.

Carroll’s spray chart depicts a 35% pull rate and a player who’s bread and butter is ripping line drives to right field and punishing teams with his enviable speed. 10 of his 13 home runs have gone to the right side of the field as well, so don’t sleep on that power.

The lines set for Carroll tonight are 1.5 bases (+105 at BetMGM) and 1.5 hits+runs+RBI (-140 at BetMGM). He has cleared these lines in 47% and 57% of games respectively. So let’s dive into the matchup specific facts.

Taj Bradley gets the start for the Twins. Bradley carries a 2026 ERA of 4.14 across 71.2 innings pitched, with a 1.38 HR/9. Carroll will have the platoon advantage here with the lefty vs righty matchup.

Although right-handed batters actually hit for better average against Bradley, lefties carry a .424 slugging percentage, a 15.7% barrel rate, and have hit 8 of the 13 home runs he has given up.

Head-to-head historical numbers are where things get enticing here. Carroll is 3 for 6 with 2 home runs vs Bradley, and probably not someone Bradley enjoys seeing getting set in the box. That is a 2.000 OPS and .500 average.
