Best MLB Props Today

Colorado Rockies at San Francisco Giants

Hunter Goodman has been giving us his best 2025 Cal Raleigh impression. Through 88 games in 2026, Goodman carries a .252 average with 27 home runs and 51 RBI. You read that correctly, 27 home runs before the All-Star break.

Many casual fans will quickly dismiss Goodman’s power numbers, blaming the elevation and thin Colorado air. However, defying all odds, Goodman has hit 18 of those dingers on the road. You’re shocked, I’m shocked, Hunter Goodman might even be shocked.

Goodman’s hits/runs/RBI line is set at 1.5 today, likely due to a tough park to homer in. He has crossed this line in 6 of his last 10, averaging 2.2 hits/runs/RBI in that stretch. He gets Tyler Mahle tonight, a right-handed arm with a reverse split. Right-handed hitters have scorched Mahle for a stunning .331 average and .504 slugging percentage.

The forementioned splits have come to fruition for Goodman in this head-to-head matchup. In 6 at bats, Goodman has 4 hits with one going for extra bases. That’s a 1.500 OPS for a guy many of us would have liked to see in the Home Run Derby in a few days.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Los Angeles Dodgers

9:10 PM Eastern

Brandon Pfaadt takes the bump for the snakes in Los Angeles tonight. In just under 50 innings this year he has sang to the tune of a 4.84 ERA and 1.49 home runs per 9 innings. His issues generally stem from the 10.7% barrel rate he gives up. Left-handed hitters have really taken advantage of this with a .291 average, .544 slugging percentage, and 7 home runs in 113 plate appearances.

Pfaadt has looked tremendous over his last two starts, allowing one earned run through 10.1 innings. At the beginning of June he did see the Dodgers lineup for an inning and was tagged for 3 hits and 2 earned runs.

Kyle Tucker has not lived up to his massive contract in LA, but he has started to turn a corner over the last month. His performance seems to come in bursts, with a 3 hit game and a 4 hit game in his last 10, but 5 games in that stretch with no hits at all.

Tucker has found success versus Pfaadt in the past. He is 3-for-5 with a home run and a double, and all 3 of those hits came in one game with just 3 plate appearances. There is value here as the Dodgers look to bounce back from a bullpen game that was tough to watch last night.
