The guys on this list are the cream of the crop. Some of these dudes have been dominating the league for years, and others have just begun to establish themselves.

Here are the ten best pitchers in the MLB:

Yes, Rodon is the tenth best pitcher in baseball, and he’s pitching like the best in baseball. He was incredible when healthy last year, rocking a 2.37 ERA and striking out 35% of hitters.

10. Carlos Rodon San Francisco Giants

Urias is in his seventh year in the MLB, and he is still just 25 years old. The lefty from Mexico won 20 games last season, and he’s off to a great start so far in 2022.

9. Julio Urias Los Angeles Dodgers

Woodruff doesn’t get a lot of love because he’s the second best pitcher on his team but he finished top 5 in ERA and FIP in 2021 in one of the most hitter friendly ballparks at American Family Field.

8. Brandon Woodruff Milwaukee Brewers

Bieber won the Cy Young back in 2020, and he could very well end up in that conversation once again if he keeps up his pace of play. Last year, he logged 134 strikeouts in 96 innings pitched.

7. Shane Bieber Cleveland Guardians

Wheeler finished second in CY Young voting in 2021, and he finished 12 in 2020. He averaged 97.2 MPH on his fastball last year, which was 4th among all starters in 2021.

6. Zack Wheeler Philadelphia Phillies

The Vanderbilt product has emerged into one of the best pitchers over the past few years. He’s averaged an ERA under 2.50 in the past two seasons, and he led the MLB with 33 starts last year.

5. Walker Buehler Los Angeles Dodgers

This guy is one of the most ridiculed by fans, but Gerrit Cole is still Gerrit Cole. Since 2019, not only is he second in ERA, but he has almost 100 more strikeouts than second-place Max Scherzer.

4. Gerrit Cole New York Yankees

He may be rocking a new shade of blue this year, but Scherzer is still that dude. The three-time Cy Young winner finished with a 2.46 ERA with 236 strikeouts.

3. Max Scherzer New York Mets

Since 2020, Burnes is first in ERA, FIP, xFIP, fWAR, and second in strikeouts. The 2021 NL CY Young winner is just 27 years old, and he might add another to his mantle this year.

This shouldn’t be a shock, and if it is, then you aren’t watching enough of deGrom. The Mets rotation is cruising so far this year, but just wait until they get their two-time Cy Young winner back.
