We finally made it. The 2026 College Baseball regular season has concluded.

If the regular season wasn’t chaotic enough, the postseason may offer more insanity, upsets, and storylines than we ever could’ve imagined. Conference tournaments will kick off tomorrow as we prep for the Road to Omaha and share our final Top 25 of the season:

College Baseball Top 25 Update Week 14

Biggest Risers

Georgia, while maybe not receiving a huge bump, made a statement this weekend, beating one of, if not the best pitching staff in the country in Auburn, featuring a 2-1 series opener that had Super Regional vibes all over it.

Wake Forest has finished their regular season on a tear and are a fringe host team at the moment. With a lot to play for in the ACC tournament, watch for the Deacs to make a big push.

Oregon continues to bolster their resume fighting for a host spot after a win against USC in Eugene. While the Ducks may be on the outside looking in for a host spot, a strong showing in the Big 10 Tournament may solidify another Eugene Regional.

Biggest Sliders

Coastal Carolina has dropped their last two conference series, this weekend at the hands of the Ragin’ Cajuns. The National Runner-Up in 2025, now certainly out of the hosting discussion, looks to get hot before entering regional play.

Mississippi State comes off a well-fought series against Texas A&M, where the Aggies would walk away with the series victory. The Bulldogs are in the host conversation no doubt, but would love to see a statement win in the SEC Tournament to ensure their fate.

Boston College, with their host chances on the line this weekend against Georgia Tech, struggled to find anything positive against the Yellow Jackets, getting outscored 38-3 over the series at home. While comfortably in the Field of 64, their host chances have quickly evaporated.

Others Receiving Votes

Miami and UCF both pick up votes but miss the cut, coming into a conference tournament week where both could be huge beneficiaries of a few wins.

Other Key Storylines

Yale officially punched their ticket into the Field of 64 on Sunday night with an Ivy League Tournament Championship victory.

James Ramsey became the first ACC coach to win a regular-season title in his first season since Jack Leggett at Clemson in 1994, as Georgia Tech sealed the deal in a dominant series victory over Boston College.

Georgia catcher Daniel Jackson became just the sixth player and first catcher in NCAA Division I history to record 25 home runs and 25 stolen bases in a single season in his push for the Golden Spikes Award.

Kansas clinched the Big 12, their first Conference Championship since 1949, in Dan Fitzgerald’s short tenure of four years. He’s taken the Jayhawks from a last-place finisher to Champion.
