2026 College Baseball Top 25 Rankings Update: Week 13
13 weeks of the college baseball season are in the books, and it's time to break down the biggest movers in this week's top 25 rankings.
With the bulk of conference tournaments just a few short weeks away, teams have begun cementing their conference championships in the likes of the Georgia Bulldogs securing the SEC regular season and Gonzaga clinching a WCC Championship on a no-hitter.
We never use the word ‘locks’ when referring to Omaha teams, but the UCLA Bruins may be as close to it as we’ve seen this season. With some incredible non-conference wins early in the year to a gritty series win over the Oregon Ducks in Westwood, the Bruins seem as tough to beat as anyone in the country.
13 weeks of the college baseball season are in the books, and it’s time to break down the biggest movers in this week’s top 25 rankings.

Biggest Risers
Tennessee had Lindsey Nelson Stadium rocking this weekend with a dominating series win over Texas. The series included one of the best pitching performances of the season in Tegan Kuhns seven-scoreless innings with 15 strikeouts.
West Virginia is now just one game back of the Kansas Jayhawks in Big 12 play after traveling to Lawrence, leaving with a sweep, and finishing off with a victory on getaway day via run-rule. The Mountaineers are rolling and pushing hard for what would be an electric environment in a Morgantown Regional.
Oklahoma State put together yet another impressive weekend with a series victory over Arizona State in Tempe, now with an RPI of 27, the Cowboys are playing their best baseball of the year heading into the final stretch.
Biggest Sliders
Coastal Carolina hit their first Sun Belt road block of the 2026 season, as Old Dominion took the series over the Chants. Still with a one-game lead in the Sun Belt, we may be looking at one host out of the SBC and could come down to the conference tournament.
Virginia was on the wrong side of another ACC loss, this time against the Cal Golden Bears. Now sitting sub .500 in conference play, the ‘Hoos dropped out of the rankings this week as their once-host hopes have completely disappeared.
Boston College split their two games this weekend with NJIT, opening the door for teams like Oklahoma State and Tennessee to sneak in, as their resume was heavily reliant on a series win over Virginia, who has since dropped out. The Golden Eagles should be comfortably in the Field of 64 but likely are out of the host conversation.
Others Receiving Votes
Miami, Jacksonville State, and UCSB continue to receive votes with strong resumes across the board.
Other Key Storylines
Texas State set a new program record for home runs on Sunday, surpassing their previous record of 87 home runs in one season. The Bobcats continue to make a late-season push as a bubble team, but a strong finish and a few Sun Belt tournament wins may be the difference.
